Airlie Beach has a special place in our hearts. It’s not hard at all to see why. I guess we’re always just counting the days till we can head back up there again for our next Airlie Beach Wedding – it’s one of our favourite holiday spots. I’ve got to admit, Fiona and I are pretty blessed. The places we get to see, the people that we get to meet, that’s what it’s all about. When we got the call inviting us up north to be a part of Leah and Roberts destination wedding, with a small gathering of their closest friends and family, we were grinning ear to ear for days.
There were so many amazing moments during their Airlie Beach wedding – I think everyone present cried, smiled and laughed until their face hurt. Leah had lost her Dad years earlier, so her Dad’s closest friends had filled the role by sharing the Father of the Bride’s speech, leaving none with dry eyes. And as the father-daughter dance took place, everyone who knew Leah’s father shared in a big group-hug dance with her.
Hearts just melted this day.
